The Bass Place

What the hell is the Bass Place you ask?  Just a spot for me to display anything about the Bass Guitar or anything in I find interesting in the Musical world.

 Am I good at playing?  I can say without a doubt that I am better than a Cat scratching at the strings, but not as good John Taylor, or Billy Sheehan, or even my own Brother and Nephew, But I can follow a song pretty well.  I am hoping someday I will be in a band.  For now I just listen to music and play along and dream.  LOL

For now I have to play and Teach myself.

 So here is some stuff if you’re interested.

Basses I own!

I own three basses.  This first one pictured below is a Ibanez SR405 5-String that I tune normally to "B"  I use this most of the time and it has great sound.

The second one is my 4-string, It is a cheap guitar but plays not that bad. I usually tune it to an "E", but retune it a step down or to a "D" if the song asks for it.

The Third is a Mexican Jazz Fretless.

Basses I would like to have in my Future!

Another on my Want list and is pictured second is this Ibanez 5 String Acoustic Bass.  Love the sound from this too, But only got to play it at a Music Shop across the river from me, so I don't get the chance to play it as often as the ones at the local music shop.
