The Poughkeepsie is made to be somewhat that of the older Constitution class with modifications here and there. It also has a large Shuttle bay right behind the Bridge for shuttle access. It also has the Federation symbol on the bottom of the ship covering where the tractor beam hatch should be. The decals are standard kit, and special order that includes the Frank Joseph’s design font used in the Technical manual. Those special order decals came from PNT Models. This model lights up in the Warp Nacelles with Belly Button lights that I got at the Dollar store. I named this ship the Poughkeepsie because since I was making the Wappingers Falls, I thought she should have a sister ship.
