I always liked this design and hope to make the model some day.  It is funny because when I made this ship, I thought of it as the way it is.  Just after I got the DVD collection of Star Trek, I heard the story how the reliant was to look this way.  But when they sent the model to the Director, or producer, (Can't remember who), he took it out and held it upside down and said that will be great. So after I saw that, I was amazed that I came up with a similar idea.

A good friend named Four Mad Men helped me out by Making me some 3D renders of the ship.  Here they are below and special thanks to 4MM for the great job!

This picture here is basically of it all completed, you will notice that the other pictures that are thumb nailed below have subtle differences and additions as they were part of the construction phase.  I am eventually going to make a 1/350 scale model of this ship, but that is still in the future.
